Elected Selangor State Assemblyman in Malaysia, Mr M Manoharan released a handwritten Press Statement from the prison where he is being detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA).
Manoharan, a lawyer, is one of the five HINDRAF leaders who were arrested and detained in the Kamunting Detention Prison in Taiping, Perak since Dec 2007.
He vowed that he ‘
will continue to fight all forms of discrimination and marginalisation against any community and raise public interest for justice and equality
even though he is in prison.
